Animal abuse..It's awful, and needs to stop.
How can people be so stupid, hurt a helpless animal, when they know they are going to get caught anyway?
People like this should die. On the spot.

Please note that the Stephen King mentioned in animal abuse is not the author Stephen King, but a different one, which I find odd.. At least it's not the author, as he is one of my favorites.

Animal abuse is worse than slaughter. People who abuse animals are mentally challenged, as butchers are just doing their job. Based on what I'ved read butchers are good-hearted and aren't violent, and take the whole slaughtering thing in a positive point of view, which is good. The world demands meat; we could just not give them any or have them slaughter their own; but it doesn't work that way and why it doesn't change I have no idea. But untill then, don't think of butchers as heartless, cruel people; they're just doing the heartbreaking dirty work so we don't have to (yet).

People who abuse animals do have problems with themselves, it could be from something that happened when they were small or just something they were born with. These people shouldn't be killed for that, they should be given help and not allowed to keep animals.
Butchers are not made to do their job, they do it out of choice so they really don't care about animals. How can they be 'Good-hearted and none-violent' when what they are doing is just the opposite?
It doesn't change because it is so convienient and people have been doing it for so long. The meat industry is a big bussiness, loads of money is made from it. If people were made to go to a slaughter house and slaughter their own meat that would probably turn a load of them into vegeterian but that'll never happen.

This is true. The world is cruel and I don't expect it to get any better, in fact it will get worse. Just look at all these crimes commited.. and it's getting worse everyday.
I do agree that people who abuse animals should get help. Sometimes this just isn't how it works though. Some people are too mentally challenged. Some aren't.
Some jails have dogs in them, and have even ers care for them. This is actually very sweet, and exposes the criminals' soft side that has most likely never to be seen before. Dogs are a great way for people to soften up and begin understanding what's right and what's not. Acting nice to animals leads to acting nice to humans, and can be the opposite as well.
