I keep hearing that the movie Eragon is a pure shitfest.

The book really isn't much better. I liked it when I first read it, but I was only around 13 or 14 years old then. Awhile ago I skimmed through the book again out of boredom and it made me even more bored. The characters aren't even very memorable at all, nor the story. The names in it sound so fucking familiar, like Solembum, Brom, and Galbatorix.. yet I forgot the attributes that dimwitted 19-year-old added to them. Fucking idiot had so little imagination that he resorted to stealing characters and WHOLE SCENES.

It's truly a shame that this movie turned out to be such crap. The actors all look respectable, except of course for the main character, who looks like a pansy or 'nancy boy'.

I've contemplated on getting the DVD when it comes out just to see the sexy evil people, but reading all these horrid reviews, it's really turning me off. And being that the movie is just over an hour long, it'll probably be up on YouTube sometime anyway, aswell as small clips so I don't have to suffer through watching the whole thing.

And for those who ask if I think I could write something better, I would reply with a "hell, yes". In fact, I already have a rather original idea involving my character Drae from Horizons.
