People who say that there is no such thing as race (human races) piss me off. "Why can't we all just get along? We're all people!" Well, no shit we're all people. But let's think about this for a moment here:

Dogs consist of different breeds, as do cats, horses, and pretty much every animal out there. It is no different for humans. To deny the existence of race is not only blatantly stupid, but also ignores the fact that yes, people really do look different in some parts of the world! There's Negroes*, there's Asians, there's Native Americans, just as surely as there are Great Danes and Dalmatians or Main Coons and Tabbies.

Different breeds of dogs, cats, horses etc have different temperaments, with some exceptions. This is true for humans as well. For example, Negroes in general seem to be less intelligent than, say, Caucasians. Asians seem to be smarter. This isn't being racist, per Se, but is acknowledging the fact that people are just as diverse as any other animal.

Some could argue that much of this difference in humans comes from culture, but animals also have culture. Take, for example, whales. Different pods of whales have different accents and different ways of doing things, just like people.

*I say "Negroes" because it wouldn't make sense to call these people African Americans. That makes just as much sense as calling an American with German descent "Germanic American". 0 Comments - Post/view comments
